Let me get this straight.
When choosing her running mate, Vice President Harris didn’t pick the young red state governor who’s beloved by union members, and who’s achieved an impressive amount of center-left goals in a conservative state.
She didn’t pick the purple state senator who’s been to space, who’s flown combat missions, who’s tough on border security in a much smarter way than Donald Trump, and whose wife is a hero of the campaign for sensible gun laws.
She didn’t pick the purple state governor who could not only help her lock up the most populous swing state, but could help put distance between her and a tiny but absurdly influential far left (people who are useful idiots for Hamas and the Iranian regime the way too many Trump voters are useful idiots for Putin).
She picked a blue state governor who brings…what, exactly, to the table? What, precisely, does he add to the ticket that will help Harris win Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, or Wisconsin?
I hope to hell the Democrats know what they’re doing. I have my doubts. I’m still voting for Harris. Even if his role in the attempted coup of January 6, 2021, was the only strike against Trump (and God knows there are a lot more than that), that would make him unworthy of ever holding public office, ever again. But I’m worried Harris won’t be able to pull it off.
